Libraries: CADSTAR Datasheet Publisher
As PCB designs become more sophisticated and the design cycles ever smaller, more and more people and departments play an influential role in the final design. One key area is the use of the correct parts, that not only satisfy the circuit performance, but are also available in the right numbers at the right price in the right time frame. It is vital that all areas of the company are sharing the same part data and the devices selected are available in the CADSTAR Library.
The solution is to be able to issue a Data Sheet for every part in the CADSTAR Library, containing all the information, including symbol and footprint diagrams, that is written in the Library. These Data Sheets need to be readily available for all members of the Company to inspect, in an easy to access format. CADSTAR Datasheet Publisher is designed for this purpose.
HTML Data Sheet
Datasheet Publisher extracts all the Part information from any CADSTAR library into a standard HTML Datasheet.
Internet or Intranet access
Because each Datasheet is a standard HTML page, they can be viewed in a standard Internet Browser or printed to produce hard copy data.
