TopSPICE
The TopSPICE simulation engine for CADSTAR enables design engineers to simulate their schematic exactly as it will be passed into PCB layout. Users no longer have to copy data from schematic to simulation, but instead work within a single design environment, utilizing a seamless design flow based around a single set of data - shortening design time and boosting productivity.

The TopSPICE simulation engine includes a native mixed-mode, mixed-signal simulator for circuits with any combination of analog and digital functions. It enables designs to be optimized from system and individual transistor perspectives and its integrated SPICE editor allows experienced designers to manually create SPICE arguments and create models or sub-circuits directly. In addition, a Parts Properties Editor gives fast access to the simulation parameters for each component, allowing small changes and ‘what if’ tuning to be carried out quickly and easily.

PSPICE Interface
The PSPICE Interface is designed to plug into CADSTAR and enables CADSTAR schematics to be simulated with PSpice A/D simulator.

Works With: Orcad PSpice 9.1 and 9.2. (PSD 14.x)
CADSTAR Schematics can be verified and optimized with PSpice simulation prior to the physical prototype. The user interface does not demand any knowledge of the PSpice file formats, and anyone who can use CADSTAR can start simulating in minimum time.
The interface takes care of all the intermediate files, and runs the tools in the correct order; the user only needs to wait for the results.
All the PSpice analysis, Transient, AC, DC, Parametric, Monte Carlo and Worst Case, are controlled and started in the control window.

B2 Spice Professional CS
B2 Spice A/D Professional CS integrates with CADSTAR and enables Analog Digital and Mixed-Mode simulation.

CADSTAR Schematics can be verified and optimized with B2 Spice Professional simulation prior to the physical prototype. The user can simply select "Connect to CADSTAR" form the B2 Spice File menu to simulate the circuit that he is working on.
B2 Spice v5 features animated mixed-mode circuits, virtual instruments, monte carlo and multiple parameter sweeps, 12 powerful tests, circuit wizards, real-time parameter modifications, cross probing, 25,000 device library, and hundreds of additional features. A fully functional demonstration version is downloadable from our website.
